We are a 501C3 non-profit facility and all donations are tax deductible. A thank you letter will be provided for your tax purposes. All donations sent the home will be used to help to make improvements, purchase necessities and provide activities to better the lives of our residents.

Volunteer​

 

If you have a skill or talent that would better the lives of our residents, please consider donating some of your time to this worthy cause.

​

Some Areas of Need:

​

  • Home Services - we are looking for general contractors, plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, and/or trade specific individuals that would be willing to donate their time to help with repairs within the facility.

  • Landscaping & Exterior - We are looking for landscapers, individuals or organizations who are willing to donate their time to help with gardening and lawn upkeep.

  • Housekeeping and Upkeep - Help is always welcomed from individuals who are willing to donate their time to clean windows, shampoo carpets, help residents organize their rooms or even help occasionally paint walls that need a little touch up.

Make a Friend

 

Our residents love visitors and we encourage you to stop by and make a friend. A great way to add value to any one person's life is to check in on them regularly.

Organize an Event​

 

We welcome organizations and groups who would like to create programs, play games or even do a craft with our residents.

 

Some Include:

  • Leading Bingo (Our residents love bingo!)

  • Holiday Parties

  • Performance by local schools, choirs or other organizations.

  • Game & Trivia Nights

  • Making Crafts (Although, we try not to do things that will clutter residents' rooms.)

Holiday Help

 

We welcome help from individuals and/or churches, boy scouts, girl scouts, schools and other organizations that are willing to donate their time to serve meals, bring in food, create simple crafts with residents or donate gifts to residents during the Christmas season.

Donate Supplies

 

Our facility is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week which means we run through everything quickly.  Donations of household supplies are always welcomed. However, please contact the facility before dropping off items to make sure that we are in need and not overwhelmed with one specific item.  

 

Suggestions Include:

  • Toilet Paper (1-ply)

  • Tissues

  • Full Bottle Shampoo/Conditioner

  • Toothpaste/Toothbrushes

  • Men/Women's Deodorant

  • Men/Women's Body Wash/Bar Soap

  • Twin Size Sheets

  • Bath Towels/Wash Cloths

  • Prepackaged/Non-expired Food

  • Word Search & Puzzle Books​

  • Coloring Books (Geared toward adults)
